Music Marketing Your Music

                        Music Marketing,The Inside Scoop

Getting Music Heard on the Internet is the key to success for any Musician, Band, singer or songwriter  in the new day and age of Computers.  I own and operate a Recording Studio From Florida and moved to North Carolina a few years ago.The toughest thing for any Musician or Artist or Band is getting  Played or as we used to call it "Air Time". Getting "signed has no guarantees anymore. The 15 Billion Dollar Market of selling Music in 1999 has dropped to 6 Billion Dollars only 10 years later.Has it dropped, or has it shifted? Definitely Shifted, and knowing how to be a part of that shift is the key to your musics success.
With the shifting of the way people listen to music from Record LPs to the now iPod generation, no one wants to be left behind. You Tube is great but it is not nearly enough. Recording at home on your computer is great, but it is not enough. I am speaking from 30 plus years of experience in Playing and Recording. It takes time and quality equipment to make a killer track, so getting people to listen to that music is JUST AS IMPORTANT as recording it. (The picture shows some of my personal gear in front of the recording booth window at my studio)
If you go the major label route, get ready for one heck of a big mountain to climb. Illegal downloads have shrunken profit margins so significantly that the major labels can no longer take the same chances they once could. Without a launching pad like American Idol or some horrible reality TV show, it’s going to be really tough to get a label to take a chance on an unknown commodity. That being said, if you do want to try and beat the odds and get a major label record deal, the best way to do that is by becoming an independent success first.
So are you one of those Artists or Songwriters who have killer lyrics and tunes soaring around in your head, you put them to pen and paper, you made a scratch track, and you know if the right people hear your Music, they will like it and want more? If this is you, I have the answer that will shotgun your Music in a way you never thought possible.Does this sound too good to be true.So does winning American Idle. Everyone on that show sounds the same to me. Are you ready to take charge of your Dreams and Career?
So how do you get your Music heard? What does it take? My band manager said he would handle it but will he really? Get a coach. That is right I joined The Inner Circle which is a site with Professional Musicians, Bands, Artists, working together to Improve the way our music is heard on the Internet and around the world. There are Monthly updates and reviews, you can learn how to submit your music to different sites, and actually be heard. Music is my life and I just wanted to say, if it is yours or you want it to be,You should check it out.
